A Fable, the feature-length motion picture project, is based on the Pulitzer Prize and National Book Award winning novel, A Fable, written by William Faulkner. This award-winning book is an allegorical story of World War I, set in the trenches in France dealing with a mutiny in a French regiment. It is recognized as one of Faulkner's major works and an essential part of his collection.

WAR, FAITH, BROTHERHOOD
LOGLINE
A band of World War I soldiers from opposing sides tries to stop the war and, maybe, the end of the world.
SUMMARY
After years of brutal and deadly warfare, a mysterious French Corporal defies orders and leads his fellow soldiers in a rebellion against their commanders. These actions have far-reaching consequences, leading to a confrontation between the soldiers and their superiors.
As the rebellion spreads, both sides are forced to confront the realities of war and the required sacrifices. Faced with treason charges, the Corporal and his men must choose between saving themselves and standing firm to their beliefs while facing execution.
