THE WORLDS LUCKIEST UNLUCKY GUY
Paul Smith, the world's luckiest unlucky guy to ever step foot onto a bocce court, finds that love comes at a price, which might be his life when he plays for the mafia.
When Paul Smith meets his dream girl Isabella Rizzo, he has no idea what is in store. Isabella is beautiful, adventurous, and not afraid to speak her mind, and Paul is an introvert, average, and keeps to himself. Aside from these apparent differences, they see traits they love and long for in each other, but bocce ball is the bond that unites them, and Paul is the best.
Isabella is the only offspring of her loving father, Don Vito Rizzo, who runs the Rizzo Crime Family and is a powerful mob boss who, after the death of his wife, Maria, rules the city with an iron fist. His bitter rival in the underworld, Jorge Villa, heads The Villa Cartel. The two families own restaurants (Italian and Mexican) on the same street and pretend to be friends but hate one another, and it's all over their annual bocce game. The Prize? One million dollars cash. Little does Paul know, he shares the same passion and love for bocce as the two biggest gangsters in town - one who is the father of the woman he loves.
Don Vito learns of Paul's skill as a bocce player and forces him to play in their annual bocce game. The game is open to family only, but Paul is Isabella's boyfriend and now the family's "ringer." Jorge Villa is furious, and Paul now finds himself in his crosshairs, and Jorge will stop at nothing to get his revenge.
