SUMMARY

In an unexpected twist of fate, Paul Smith, a reserved and unassuming man, finds himself drawn to the captivating Isabella Rizzo. Isabella, a fearless and adventurous spirit, is the stark opposite of Paul's introverted nature. Yet, their shared passion for bocce ball ignites a unique bond between them, with Paul's undisputed talent in the game taking center stage.

 

Little does Paul know; his new love interest is deeply entwined in a world far removed from his own. Isabella is the cherished daughter of Don Vito Rizzo, the formidable head of the Rizzo Crime Family. Following his wife Maria's death, Don Vito rules the city with a relentless grip, engaged in a bitter rivalry with Jorge Villa, the leader of The Villa Cartel. The two families, under the guise of neighboring Italian and Mexican restaurant owners, share a mutual loathing fueled by an annual bocce ball game with a grand prize of one million dollars.

 

Paul's exceptional bocce skills quickly catch Don Vito's attention, leading to an unexpected twist: he's coerced into representing the Rizzo family in the high-stakes game.
